Brand Identity

The Ottawa Farmers’ Market (OFM) required a refreshed visual identity that could honour its local heritage while strengthening recognition across signage, print, and community touchpoints throughout the Ottawa region. Working in-house at Cinnamon Toast New Media (Design Agency) as the Lead Brand Designer, I developed a cohesive brand system rooted in warmth and seasonality, thoughtfully blending historical character with a contemporary visual direction.

The final identity combines refined typography with natural colour palettes and illustrative elements inspired by locally grown produce and Ottawa’s four seasons, reinforcing the market’s role as both a longstanding community hub and a trusted source for local goods. Designed to scale seamlessly across marketing and vendor touchpoints, the refreshed brand was warmly received by the public, increasing vendor participation and attendance across OFM markets while elevating its overall visibility and presence.
