The Drop Shop

The Drop Shop is a curated buy & sell marketplace app for second‑hand clothing. I was contracted by the app’s founder to lead the UI/UX, product design, and brand identity, creating an experience that balanced refined style, usability, and trust.
The challenge was twofold: create a brand that felt modern and aligned with sustainable fashion, and design an intuitive app that made browsing, listing, and buying second-hand items effortless. I mapped out the app’s screens and flows to make core tasks (like exploring categories, filtering results, posting items, and managing listings) clear and easy to navigate. The UI design focused on clean, simple layouts and a visual language that reinforced the brand’s refined personality. To encourage repeat engagement and drive sales, I added a live countdown along the top of the app showing when the next clothing drop would go live, giving users a reason to return regularly. I also led the design and rollout of the app’s brand reveal across social media for the launch campaign.
