NeuroGym Fit

Product & UI/UX Design, Branding

NeuroGym FIT is a clinical physiotherapy app designed for therapists (including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, PTAs, and other clinicians) to create customized, data-driven treatment programs and track measurable patient outcomes over time.

Contracted by NeuroGym, I led the product and UI/UX design from discovery through high-fidelity prototyping, working closely with the NeuroGym team and software developer to translate its science-based neuro-rehabilitation methodology and patented mobility equipment into an intuitive, accessible clinical tool aligned with real-world workflows. The experience was designed to improve therapist efficiency while supporting stronger patient recovery and care outcomes.

The work also supported a pending national distribution partnership across long-term care facilities in Canada, extending the product’s potential clinical impact at scale.

The Branding

Strategy & Process

I worked closely with the NeuroGym team and software developer to guide the product design process from research through high-fidelity prototyping. Our focus was on deeply understanding therapist goals, physiotherapy workflows, and how to make complex clinical tasks intuitive and efficient within in a mobile-friendly environment.

Through dozens of interactive wireframes and flow iterations, we refined key user paths such as creating client profiles, navigating the exercise library, and building balanced treatment plans. Usability considerations, including exercise filtering, treatment-plan data hierarchy, and tracking measurable outcomes, were central to ensuring the app supported real-world clinical use.

Impact & Outcomes

NeuroGym Fit is still in active development, but here’s a sneak peek at the UI design and a few of the many user flows created during prototyping and testing. My UI/UX and product design work contributed to increased confidence from clinical stakeholders in the healthcare field and helped position the NeuroGym FIT app for broader adoption. The platform is currently supporting a pending partnership to distribute the app to long-term care facilities across Canada, expanding its reach beyond private clinics.
